During my time at Hypertherm, I applied skills gained from my engineering undergraduate experience towards different projects to help the company. A lot of my work revolved around using SolidWorks to optimize manufacturing fixture efficiency, plan out floorplan modifications, and improve upon design flaws. I worked in both the swirl rings and shields (heavy mechanized manufacturing) departments, gaining a functional understanding of the scientific processes at work in a plasma cutter.
