On behalf of Student Government, I serve as the Off-Campus Representative of Emmaus Bible College. My job entails informing off-campus students of all events that occur at or away from the school. I also interact with a team that strives to create a safe and enjoyable environment that allows students to build relationships with one another. As a Resident Assistant, I lived with a large number of young men that I was able to disciple and mentor throughout the span of one year. I planned floor events and often spent late nights talking about life and giving consoling young men. I also had weekly meetings with other RA's to encourage and build one another up. I gained a large variety of skills in human relations, time management, mentoring, planning, and being a genuine person.

I worked as a second shift "lift operator" which means that for about 40% of the time, I was pulling, putting away, and loading furniture on a flat lift. I often worked in customer service throughout the day by prepping furniture to be picked up and loaded onto their vehicles. My duties allowed me to gain knowledge in communication with customers, working independently, and how to operate expensive equipment. As a utility clerk, you are essentially a right hand man to anything that the store needs. I did many different things between bagging, stocking, carts, helping customers load, LP tanks, produce and dairy. I enjoyed being busy the entire day. Piggly Wiggly had a great staff of workers that made coming to work always enjoyable. I only have great things to say about this business!
