      As a Teach Plus Fellow, I received monthly module training on various aspects of education policy including meetings with superintendents, congressmen, executive branch leaders. Additionally, I gained experience in testifying at ISBE listening tours and participating in various state-level working groups. My policy focus was around the implementation of ESSA in Illinois, for which my group published the brief "A Seat at the Table" which highlighted areas of concerns for teachers around the new law's implementation. Players from the most recent class have gone on to attend Stanford, UofI, University of Michigan among others.
