Main duty was to institutionalize and operationalize CO2Balance UK Ltd as an outfit in Africa with an ability to implement a Clean Development Mechanism and Gold Standards Techniques Carbon Credits facility in the region.-Set-up offices in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Rwanda and Tanzania. Operationalized the offices (staffing and other operations).- Staffed the offices with over 300 employees (managerial, logistics, community development, clerks, secretaries)-Raised over UK Pounds 500,000 for community projects in operational areas-Prepared 7 ESIA reports for certification by NEMA in Kenya and Uganda. These helped in registration of the CDM projects by the UNFCC-Supported the Carbon Credits inspection teams from International evaluators ensuring set international standards are met-Supervised construction and distribution of over 800,000 cook-stoves in the region, including identification of beneficiaries, procurement, tracking and installation.
