I was honored to serve as the official voice for the undergraduate population of Rutgers New Brunswick of near 40,000 students. Between working with student organizations, all levels of University Administration, and other campus stakeholders, my job is to make the Rutgers community the best we can be.Most recently, in the wake of COVID-19, my administration worked diligently to establish the RUSA Recovery Fund in partnership with the Dean of Students which benefited over 500 students (including most-at-risk groups like DACA, international, & EOF students) thus far and was the first student government led relief program in the nation. Additional accomplishments include fulfilling the promise for Pass/No Credit grading. Along with passing three referenda for the first time in a fall election with record turnout. Which culminated in a new Constitution, official divestment of the Rutgers endowment from fossil fuels, and official student stance on getting student voting rights on the University Board of Governors.
