As a member of senior management, I oversee multiple teams of professional staff in performing audit, evaluation, and oversight activities of State and local governments. Managed performance audits covering a wide variety of programs and policy issues, including complex and high profile audits of affordable housing programs, local government and school district finances, transportation and higher education funding, unemployment programs and privacy practices, law enforcement practices, healthcare fraud, and local oversight of non-profits. Also, lead financial audits of the State's multi-billion dollar financial statements and perform oversight activities of large State IT projects. Engage various stakeholder groups on a variety of topics, including presenting report results to legislative members and staff, and other interested groups.
