  I was taken on at Formation to work on a variety of feasibility and planning projects. In May 2013 I began work on a large high-end residential project in central Kensington, including a plus 1000sqm basement extension and the design of a new mews building. I took the project from conception through planning stages and now as part of a team will be taking the project to site this coming year.   I created a project working with the Salvation Army’s International Development team. The project sought to simplify the convoluted design development stages of their project team working within the developing world. By allowing local architects to continue managing the completion of projects whilst I oversaw the design stages, acting as a professional mediator for the different parties involved (the senior benefactors in London, the local officers in charge of development, local construction professionals and the end user groups) we were able to greatly reduce the amount of time taken to develop designs that satisfied all of the parties involved. Whereas previously projects could take years to come to fruition the highly focused approach to design stages enabled us to advance 12 projects to their construction phases in a single year greatly reducing the time and costs of each of these projects.
