With my Business Management & HR experience, I have aided in project planning, scheduling, and estimating. In addition to this I have created a stronger employee appreciation program in order to maximize efficiency and retention. As for now, I am a hard working employee who installs custom shower doors, windows, storefronts, and mirrors. Upon my journey to Europe many things struck my interest as we visited different companies and explored the surrounding areas. Being in HR, I wanted to come out of this experience with how employees are treated in different countries. Do they receive the same benefits we do? How does their pay and workload compare to their daily ives? Are they content in their position? How long have they been with the company? As I saw a fairly large gap in differences between business practices in the two countries. I wondered how could an HR Manager make a difference when given the opportunity? Show less

Being a volunteer at this retail store, I knew I wouldn't get such a 'pivotal role'. The manager saw me cleaning up the showroom and organizing, told me he appreciated the care I took even though I was a volunteer. He went on to put a few workers under my wing. I proceeded to lead my new 'team' and divide roles between moving/cleaning furniture and loading/helping customers.
