My initial job description at Nash Road included office management, supply ordering, and tracking of guests and members. However, it quickly evolved to utilize my unique skills, including audio and video editing, web design, and graphic design. I have been able to work and develop my graphic design muscles, and have built a significant portfolio of advertisements and "sermon art" graphics. I have also had a lot of public speaking experience at Nash Road. Most weeks I greet the congregation, and I have given several sermons. Public speaking has always been something I felt skilled at, but my experience at Nash Road has also grown this skill set. Another skill set which I have developed has been my musical ability. I have been a musician since Middle School, but during my time at Nash Road I have begun and grown as a bass guitarist. I play in our church band, as well as at another church for one of their ministries. What I have found in playing bass is that it is another avenue by which I can create, and I include it here only to demonstrate my ongoing desire to take a skill that I have previously used to some extent, and stretch it and make it something new.
