As an intern for VanDemark and Lynch I participated in a variety of projects. Primarily I served as a Construction Reviewer for the Birmingham Street Program in Birmingham Township, PA. This included measuring distances to ensure that the appropriate amount of asphalt was laid during the time of construction and checking the installation of new roll curbs and inlet structures. Second, I worked on a sidewalk addition between the Ronald McDonald House and Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. The sidewalk had to both minimize the removal of trees as well as descend in to the Parking Garage at ADA compliant levels. Third, I worked on the scope additions for Unionville Park in Unionville, PA. This included the addition of a new sidewalk and walking path, as well as the placement of Erosion Control measures and new grading. My last project was at 1699 Fairville Road in Pennsbury Township, PA. This project was for an addition to an existing structure as well as an addition to an existing parking lot. Show less

Guest Services Supervisor

As a member of the Guest Services department at Morey's Piers, I worked in contact with a majority of the guests who attended the Piers and Waterparks. Some of my responsibilities included handling transactions of large amounts, interacting with guests of all ages, coming up with solutions for any problem a guest may have and fixing any mechanical issues in the Guest Service Offices and Ticket Booths. As an Umpire for Avon Grove Little League, I was in charge of games for baseball and softball from 8-12 years of age. Along with the duties that are involved with the calling of the game, I also had to interact with coaches, players and fans. Skating Guard/Cashier

As a member of the staff at Boomers Family Fun Center, I worked both outside at the Ice Rink and Ice Slide, as well as indoors as a cashier, laser tag operator, and an assistant party host. Outside, my responsibilities included monitoring the skaters on the ice rink, sharpening skates, aiding customers in using the ice slide, and communicating with parents about the safety of their child. Indoors, I worked at the snack shop as a cashier, operated the laser tag game and ensured the safety of all those who were participating, and aiding the party hosts/hostesses. Show less
