Leading on careers advice and guidance to individuals and groups through the Society’s 1-2-1 careers appointment service, responding to general online and electronic enquiries and through the delivery of on-campus and virtual workshops at universities and colleges, including CV advice, online applications, covering letters, interview preparation and job search. I assist in the production and development of the Society’s print and online careers materials - including leaflets, posters, magazine, social media posts, webinars and developing content for the Careers in Aerospace website - and will respond to external requests for information and case studies on careers and pathways in aerospace and aviation, including contributions to external publications and campaigns to promote engineering, aviation, aerospace and related STEM subjects. The role also involves managing the Society’s student membership roadshow for universities and colleges, liaising with academia to deliver membership presentations virtually and/or in person and provide supporting information and promotional activities through related events, virtual learning environments etc. I provide project management support of the development of the Society’s digital careers strategy, including the Career Flightpath platform, website developments and help identify and develop new opportunities to enhance the Society’s provision of careers information, support and guidance.
