However, this was essentially a small business so duties extended to general customer service, ensuring customers completed safety forms, taking card and cash payments and standing in for the manager sometimes. Some customers were very nervous and needed encouragement to overcome their fears to enjoy the high ropes course.       Started as an assistant coach helping the coach give advice for everyone. Progressed to being a coach running sessions making sure that students made progress. It was important that the students enjoyed their sessions and, when the students were children, it was also important to make their parents happy. To keep everyone engaged and having fun required a dynamic coaching style. By the end of my time at Kingston gym I was Head of Recreational Trampolining with responsibility for staff rotas as well as writing lesson plans and being in charge of awards. Show less
