Garth Reeves
I've known and worked with Nicholas for several years now around building restorative practices in schools. He has provided training, consultancy and implementation support for restorative practices, including training staff in circle work and restorative practices and helping design and implement a formal restorative justice program. Nicholas is very good at what he does, combining a superb theoretical grounding with excellent skills at facilitation and relationship building. I have called on Nicholas many times over the years for guidance and to be a sounding board and have had the pleasure of hiring him to support restorative work at both my current and former schools. I can't say enough how great it has been to partner in this work with him.

We provide Restorative Justice Policy solutions and training to schools, districts, and non-profits. The particular model we use is Restorative Justice (see Nationalcenterforrestorativejustice.com for more information). This work is rooted in the understanding that relationships are the core to success and as such youth who are struggling need opportunities to build those relationships rather than being excluded from the learning environment. I currently work with schools in Puget Sound Region and provide training Nationally. I also support the alternatives to exclusionary discipline movement by speaking at conferences and community events, as well as state meetings.
