Administrator on the Access to Recovery program, a four year discretionary grant program received by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). Responsible for the collection, organization and analysis of data from over 14,000 clients. Presents data to be used in planning projects, in making environmental assessments, and monitoring clients’ performance. Keeps abreast of legal or technical issue affecting agency operations. My staff had a client follow-up rate almost 10% higher than other states in our cohort, allowing Ohio to secure additional funds. Trains and offers technical assistance to over 20 client intake sites. Monitors, investigates complaints, and performs compliance audits for over 100 service providers. Creates policy and procedure manuals for staff, technical manuals for intake sites and service providers. Coordinate activities between local service providers, county boards, and state agencies.
