Brand Analyst

Oct 2020 - Aug 2021
While working remotely during the pandemic, I improved my skills of managing myself and being my own boss. It was great to experience this different style of leadership and see its benefits as well as its disadvantages. As Brand Analyst my main objective was to locate, review and if possible, recommend infringing products be taken down to protect our client's brand. I truly enjoyed the opportunities of working directly with my teammates and leadership on projects. And when the moments presented themselves, I shared a different perspective and/or offered potential solutions to issues our team faced. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the company and I were no longer on the same page and I decided it was best for me to part ways. I am ready for my next adventure. Show less

Lead Quality Assurance Tester
-
Jun 2019 - Jun 2020
In this role I was given a wonderful opportunity to work on my leadership skills as team lead. Guiding my team through daily testing and various assigned tasks was something I truly enjoyed. I also had the opportunity to partner with the director of our team and implement new functions and processes which ultimately led to greater success as a whole. While I loved breaking our website and app by finding all possible bugs that might create a poor user experience, I loved looking at the bigger picture of the department even more. I constantly tried to think about, in what areas can QA continue to improve? And how exactly can we improve those areas? I learned very quickly that not every problem can be solved the way you had hoped. And sometimes, you just have to come up with the best solution possible with the resources you do have. With great misfortune, our startup company AllSocial was having difficulty staying afloat and the company ended up shutting down. Show less

This opportunity was my first full time job outside of college. I gained invaluable knowledge regarding tax, human resources, and how to work in a fast paced environment. I created lasting relationships with my co-workers and was very grateful to be part of a thriving and fast growing institution. My team leads helped push me to be better every single day which I loved. Year End was the most difficult challenge I had to overcome in my career thus far. My job rarely consisted of face to face interactions and I truly believe this is one of my best abilities. I was not passionate about working the majority of the time through cellular communication and I know once I do find the position that brings my passion and my skills together, I will be right where I belong. I loved interacting with customers and finding solutions for them in the process. I made sure to provide outstanding customer service on a consistent basis. Being surrounded in a culture that encourages me to be myself, hires co-workers who appreciate and care for each other, and provides management that loves to have fun at work is the workplace I love. It is a part time position and after I graduate from Boise State, I will be looking for a full time position that provides the same supportive foundation that Best Buy and store 526 provided me. This was my first job which I worked as many hours as possible in the summer before my freshman year of college. I actually stayed on a couple more months into my first semester, because I wanted to continue being part of the workforce.
