Dec 1997 - Apr 2012
I have successfully completed six months training at the Regional Police Training Center and graduated with a certificate as Constable in 1998. I then return to the said training center in 2002 and completed a course in the Criminal Investigations field graduating as a Detective. I have also been on many seminars and had local training in various fields which includes Public Relations, Human Resources, CPR and First Response and Community Policing. I have worked in many different departments within the police force in twelve years, as a constable on the beat (beat and patrol), a community police officer, a bailiff and currently a Detective in C.I.D. I was awarded a Scholarship in 2007 for a Bachelors program in Criminal Justice which is what I am currently pursuing. My main goal is get more experience by working whilst attending school and I am most interested in working with Juveniles and the Court system. However anything else that is available within the criminal justice system that I may have an opportunity to be involved in is considered a plus for me and also the organization. Show less
