  TechGround is an innovative Start-up born with the aim of developing the project “NowParking”. The purpose of the project was to build an infrastructure composed by hardware ( Sensors, repeaters and gateway) and software (IOS, Android and cloud computing data collector) for people who need to find a free parking spot around cities. After almost two year of tentatives, successes and failures we decided to “park” the project and we started in collaboration with UNIVA (Association of the employers of Varese Province) a project for the digitalization of the SMEs in the manufacturer’s field.   Working for the United Nations was one of the best experiences I had in my life. ITC is the joint agency of the UN and WTO, the objective is to provide technical assistance to governments, institutions and SMEs in developing countries, helping them on exporting goods and services. I spent my internship working with the quality team of the division of market development. I followed up the project called "Together For Africa" with Confindustria, E4Impact and San Patrignano. The project is built on three pillars: 1) Private-private partnerships for co-development, with the objective of helping African businesses through tutorship 2)Social Inclusion of African migrants in Italy with trainings and job opportunities, helping them on creating their own businesses in connection with their home country 3) Sustainable Finance, with the objective of promoting Green and Social bonds for Africa During my six months at ITC: I’ve supported the quality team adviser helping with reports on the Sri Lankan fruits markets, excel’s works, presentations, case studies, project proposals, ecc... in addition to the daily work i’ve pitched ITC at “San Raffaele University” in Milan. Helped the Communication team on arranging the International Women’s day event, arranged two missions in Africa for two Italian companies, attended the Sustainable Economy Forum in San Patrignano, attended the Seed and Chips fair within the Global Food Innovation Summit, coordinated from ITC side the “Goals On Tour” campaign in collaboration with Seed and Chips. Attended the “innovation Bootcamp 555 on the UX design Methodology”. The possibility of working in such a dynamic and multicultural environment made me very proud of my choice. Show less
