Rifò is an Italian startup whose aim is to create a sustainable production model, we upcycle textile fibers to make new trendy clothes and accessories.Thanks to a mechanical and craftsmanship process developed in the textile district of Prato (our city) more than 100 years ago, we are able to turn fabric leftovers into new clothes and accessories with identical qualities to the original products. This method allows us to upcycle the leftovers and sensibly reduce the amount of water and chemical products used in the production.Today it is so easy to get dressed, there are so many beautiful clothes at a low price. But we can do better – we can dress in high-quality and fashionable clothes while taking care of our planet!Made in Italy & Upcycled Textile Fibers

-I am responsible for the formulation of two projects:• Improving SME productive capacity and competitiveness in Vietnam, a 15M euros Project which contributes to improve the productive capacity and competitiveness for SMEs in HCMC and other neighboring provinces through the establishment of a concessional credit line;• Supporting employability and social inclusion in Vietnam’s vocational training colleges, a 5M euros Project which aims at enhancing institutional capacity building of vocational training schools in selected provinces of Vietnam and at supporting their students to better meet the requirements in the labour market after graduation.-I do the identification of new initiatives in Private Sector Development in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam in collaboration with Government Authorities, the World Bank Group, United Nations Agencies and the private sector. -I am responsible for the applications of my Office to the EU commission's Calls for Proposals in collaboration with Italian NGOs, Government Agencies&Authorities and the Private sector.

UN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2015/2016I managed and coordinated in collaboration with the Executive Director all the projects regarding private sector development (cluster development), inclusive business and trade-capacity building in Vietnam, Cambodia and Lao PDR utilizing PCM methodology. I prepared the project document of new initiatives using the Logical Framework Approach. In addition, I drafted the bidding documents for the call of proposals and did the monitoring and evaluation of projects and project proposals of NGOs and international organizations. I collaborated in designing and starting up new initiatives in accordance with the Joint Committee decisions. Finally, I looked for possibilities of PPP regarding our projects, building and maintaining relations with the private sector. One of my drafted initiatives in inclusive business regarded the strengthening of local cooperatives in Cocoa’s production value chain in Vietnam.
