I gathered the required documents, met with the auditor to ensure compliance and passed every audit making sure that our reports, files, and hiring practices are accurate. ● Created and implemented several company policies and handbooks leading to consistency across all 8 retail locations and creating a better working environment. Previously, we had no official sexual harassment policy or training program. After a complaint from an employee it fell to me to create and distribute the training program to all current and new employees. ● Identify issues or gaps in our policies and implement plans to correct them. I developed an open door policy for all employees that made them feel safe in reporting any issues they may have. They knew it would be handled with sensitivity and discretion. ● Manage 28 employees with high retention rates and very little turnover. Our average length of employment is 6 years. ● Manage reports from HRIS including 5500 forms for 401K.
