100minds is a social enterprise project founded in 2013, that brings together some of Ireland’s top college students and connects them with one cause to achieve big goals in a short space of time. This year, I have teamed up with 100 minds to take on the challenge of raising €1000 in 100 days for Temple Street Children's Hospital. The means in which I intend to hit my target are by holding a pub quiz and raffle, holding a charity lunch in UCD's Michael Smurfit Business School and by approaching my local primary school to see if a bake sale or a family fun day can be organised. The money raised through 100 minds will be used for replacing and repairing life-saving equipment, offering support to families in their time of need and to ensure that every child gets a childhood meaning that every child can experience holidays like Christmas and Easter as best as possible while in the care of Temple Street (parties, shows, events, etc are held in the hospital). Here is a link to my 100 minds profile which provides further information on how the funds will be used and where donations can be made: https://www.100minds.org/campaigns/2018/participants/niamh-breen Show less
