My passion for the environment covers a wide range of matters from making sure ecosystems flourish, to ensuring people have quality places to call home, where they can be close to nature. In order to address the many challenges facing our natural world we need to look at an integrated infrastructure approach. Green and Blue infrastructure needs to work in tandem and be used to inform design from the start. I'm fortunate to have a breadth of knowledge when it comes to the natural world, with an understanding of the intracisies and interconnected nature of both natural and man-made systems such as SuDS. Allowing me to help advise and develop innovative solutions to the various crisis we face. From w Water Neutrality, Nutrient Neutrality and Biodiversity Net Gain. I have always been a strong believer that the best way to win the sustainability argument is to demonstrate that delivering "environmental" developments can have tangible capital costs benefits and long-term benefits for the developer, community and the environment. Our approach to addressing the recurrent water issues, that will only be compounded by the advent of climate change are squarely based on this strategy. That is why our approach to water neutrality is based on maximising the complete hydrological cycle of the sites ensuring that environment is at the core of the solution. Thus, replenishing water resources, generating water resources, maximizing water efficiency and finding ways to make development sites more independent. For instance, our greywater recycling system can recycling up to 70% of potable water on each and every site, thus facilitating the replenishing of aquifers locally and the reduction of significant effluent and associated infrastructure costs. We are also tackling biodiversity related concerns and entwining Biodiversity Net Gain Solutions alongside Water Neutrality and Nutrient Neutrality for maximum benefit developers, communities and the environment.
