    • Sport Performance Analyst - Student Placement
      • Mar 2016 - Aug 2016

This work placement will give me an insight towards performance analysis in a sporting environment. This experience is very hands on which is great for my learning and involves examining the breakdown of different sports. During this time, I will be learning how to operate an Endzone Video System, perform live coding of matches, recording matches and athletes for analysis breakdown, using specific computer software provided by Sportstec (Coda, iCoda, Sportscode, Hudl). This is a very interesting area of the professional sporting environment and will give me a very important set of skills that I hope to use in the future.

    • Honour Guard Coordinator - Volunteer
      • Jan 2016 - Jan 2016

Through Mainland Football, I was given an opportunity to help out on game day for the Wellington Phoenix Football Club when they played one of their A-League fixtures in Christchurch against Central Coast Mariners from Australia. Here I was helping organise the selected kids to be a guard of honour at the end of the players tunnel before kick-off and also guiding the kids onto the field of play to spread out the halftime sponsorship banner across the centre circle. This opportunity gave me insight on how an A-League football match runs and gave me some experience in a small leadership role
