  SynergySuite is a SaaS provider operating primarily in the hospitality that allows users to manage all aspects of their business including HRM, Cash Management, Sales Reporting and Stock Management.Working in as part of a small team in a small, but always growing, company I have worked in all aspects of the software development cycle. A short list achievements\responsibilities include: - Sourced a biometric device supplier and wrote an interface to interact with the device in order to push employee information and poll clock data to and from the device. Became a very popular device with customers. - Largely responsible for the design and maintenance of our successful HRM and Cash Management modules. - Automated loading of BI system with data from our core product. - Managed server creation and maintenance (Primarilly Xen and Ubuntu) in data center. - Created Jenkins instance (continuous integration tool). - Added Content Repository (Apache Jackrabbit) to core product to facilitate uploading and attaching scanned documents to transactions. - In my spare time worked on a project to upgrade existing inflexible web interface to a responsive web interface using Zurb Foundation, improving user experience and mobile support. - Interfaced with 3rd party web services to automatically pull product information from curated source.- Learnt Angularjs in spare time and used it to improve the main business product.
