The role was Disestablished due to much of the finance function being outsourced. • Responsibility for 1 Domestic A/P person • Month End - Maintenance, creation and approval of month end journals • Analysis of month end results and adjustments as required • Balance Sheet and P&L Maintenance and Reconciliation as and when appropriate • All aspects of Analysis and Financial Modelling • Budgeting and Forecasting • All aspects of IRD commitments - GST, FBT, DED, INC, NRWT, PAYE • Treasury Management - Hedging requests, Loan payments, Cashflow • Aspects of CAPEX and Fixed Asset matters, including reporting and maintenance • Working with the External and Internal Auditors • Experience with policy writing and streamlining of internal controls • Bank and IRD sites, Govt Stats, company insurance, contract negotiations • Ad Hoc finance requests from the Group, Cluster, Australia or the GM in NZ • Finance Projects (Projects included) • Cashpooling funds with Group finances & Electronic Expense (Completed) • Automation of the Purchase Order process – a WIP when I left • Automating FBT for the company vehicles per quarter (Completed) I am proud of essentially ensuring everything continued despite having sole responsibility suddenly in Apr 18, and to be leaving the position in a far better state.
