Member of Cardiff University’s 2017 iGEM team. iGEM is the world’s largest undergraduate biology organisation/competition host and is an important player in genetic engineering research. Cardiff’s project aimed to manufacture a therapeutic protein in genetically engineered Tobacco plants. Project was judged to be in the top 4 of the pharmaceutical track.
