  -Preparing realistic, adaptable initial budget estimates and cash flow projections.- Conduct quantity Take-off and estimate not limited to the following: Square cost Estimate, Schematic Design Estimate, Conceptual Design Estimate, Definitive office estimate, Detailed Bill of Quantities & Value Engineering- Advice, coordinate with and assist the PM/ CM in establishing and maintaining bid documentation and tendering procedures.- Represent Bid conferences and project meetings, analyse tender submissions, prepares bid evaluation reports and recommend tender awards for bid negotiations. - Establish financial analysis and projections, cost monitoring as per construction agreements and to maintain such incorporate in the PM/ CM project report at a monthly regular reporting to the owner.- Prepare and evaluate monthly billing statements submitted by the contractors/ suppliers at regular intervals for the duration of the project; evaluate and transact variation/ change order claims, maintain updated list of all bonds and insurances reflecting validity and expiration dates of contract/ supplier; and to prepare report on contractors/ suppliers final account closeout.- Prepare, calculate and control budget for man-hours, equipment and materials. propose corrective action solution in case of expected budgetary lapses to avoid the delay of the project.- Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, Architects, Owners, Contractors and Subcontractors on any changes and/ or adjustments to cost estimates through maintaining a directory of project consultants, Designers and owner's contacts and representatives.-Recommends Corrective solution in case of conflict between planned and actual application.-Prepares monthly reports for QS work to be incorporated in the monthly report to be submitted by the PM, proposes work sequence and procedure beneficial to the progress report.
