Nancy became my coach at the start of the Covid pandemic. Amidst all the uncertainty, I considered postponing my coaching, but I am so thankful I didn't. Nancy challenged me, supported me, and listened to me. Throughout the course of my coaching plan, Nancy shared countless helpful resources and introduced me to new and effective management strategies. Beyond these tools and skill-building exercises, Nancy's greatest talent has to be asking thoughtful, critical questions. I would find myself reflecting on those questions long after our sessions and sharing and asking those questions with others on my team. She held me accountable and cared deeply about my success and growth as a leader. Thank you Nancy!

Nancy is a people-first leader, a forward-thinking talent executive, and a highly effective facilitator. I had the privilege of working with her on a training to help new leaders learn to manage change. Nancy is holistic in her approach, providing both the strategic framework and the practical tools needed to succeed. If you have the chance - work with her!

Nancy is the heart and soul of DisruptHR Chicagp. Our speakers love her as she guides them from initial contact through their presentation delivery at the event. I couldn't have wished for a better partner on this exciting journey of building a community of HR innovators in Chicago!

DisruptHR (http://disrupthr.co) is an information exchange designed to energize, inform and empower HR leaders, business professionals, and community leaders who are interested in transforming the way we think about talent in the workplace. DisruptHR is truly an international movement, with events in New York, Vancouver, and Sydney. The events are high energy, informative and most of all fun! 12 speakers, 5 minutes each, and slides advancing every 15 seconds. Why has DisruptHR come to Chicago? Because it's time to "shake things up" and frankly get a little uncomfortable with the status quo. I'm fortunate to work with two passionate co-founders in Nicole Dessain and Charlie Judy. The first DisruptHR Chicago event occurred on April 27, 2016 and it was a huge success! We're looking forward to future events and open to creative ideas you may have about keeping this movement going. We are a community-driven, non-profit, grassroots initiative. Want to get involved as sponsor, speaker, or volunteer? Please let me know...we are on Twitter and Facebook. Follow us @DisruptHRChi. Let’s shake things up!
