Events Director

Chairperson of TechFest 2017 and Dinner & Dance 2017, the two major events under the School of Computer Science & Engineering. For TechFest 2017, liaised with several corporate companies and sponsors and invited them to set up a booth during our event for recruitment and promotion purposes. Co-organised the inaugural CSEC-GovTech Hackathon competition with GovTech, where outstanding teams comprising students across various faculties in Nanyang Technological University were selected to showcase their ideas and solutions for a given case study. Through extensive marketing efforts and new initiatives implemented, TechFest 2017 saw a close to 50% overall increase of attendance, and secured more than double the external fundings compared to previous years. For Dinner & Dance 2017, oversaw the execution and development of the event program, including program flow, event logistics and liaison with external sponsors. Coordinated the training program for 12 pageant contestants, and worked closely with external vendors to ensure a smooth execution of the Pageant contest, which was the main highlight of Dinner & Dance 2017.
