I opened this business with my husband in October 2013, the experience gained from JulesThin Crust as GM gave me a solid foundation of experience for my husband and I to explore opening our own restaurant and to be our own entrepreneurs. Throughout the build process from July to October, I was engaged in but not limited to all business setup, equipment purchasing, computer point of sale programming, menu design, marketing material, vendor contracts, payroll setup, business licenses setup including liquor license, LLC registration, state & federal tax numbers, staff interviews and restaurant setup. My responsibilities since opening have included everything from the entire business financials, running cost of goods, monthly reporting & tracking, front of house management, staff employment, management and training, daily management, purchasing, payroll, book keeping, event management in store & offsite, all catering bids and delivery, including event staff management, social media – Instagram, face book & twitter. I also have been the main sweets baker for the restaurant since 2014 Winner 2016 Business of the Year Award – Cary Chamber of Commerce Winner 2016 Triangle Downtowner Magazine Best Pizza in the Triangle Other awards include Pizza of the Year listed 2017 & 2018 – Triangle Downtowner, Cary Magazine, Cary Living Show less
