Wuay Teck’s areas of practice encompass investment funds and private equity.Wuay Teck regularly represents clients in the establishment of Singapore and offshore hedge funds and private equity funds. He also acts for corporate, institutional and sovereign wealth fund investors investing in private investment funds.In addition, Wuay Teck advises fund entities, fund management companies, banks, fund service providers, sovereign wealth funds and various other financial institutions on regulatory matters pertaining to private investment funds (such as licensing and marketing issues) and has substantial experience in liaising with regulatory authorities.Wuay Teck graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree in 2007 and was placed on the Dean’s List yearly. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2008. Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill, Wuay Teck served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Attorney General’s Chambers of Singapore.
