Black History Month Intern
-
Sep 2017 - Dec 2017
Coordinate activities and events within 'Black History Month (BHM)' (October) to raise internal awareness of the contribution and challenges of BAME (Black Asian and Minority Ethnic) staff and volunteers to the work of the Red Cross and wider community . This included running a national event, producing guidance for areas on how they can celebrate BHM and using internal communications to promote the activity before and afterwards. In addition, I supported wider work to raise awareness of BAME contribution and challenges.
