      As the Brazilian Tourism Board is responsible for the marketing and promotion of Brazil abroad I had the opportunity to create the Congresses & Meetings Department and develop Brazilian Policies to attract and promote international events in the country. I also attended many trade shows around the world. In 2007 I became the Chief of Cabinet for Mrs. Jeanine Pires, the Former President of the Board and coordinated many projects such as the Brazilian House in South Africa during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Brazilian projects related to Rio’s candidacy as host city of the 2016 Olympic Games. I also had the privilege of traveling to some countries with the former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, promoting Brazilian Tourism for tour operators in Official Presidential Missions.
