After several months of struggling with home-grown TCO excel models, we engaged Polyeidus to take our internal efforts, and turn them into a formal, productized TCO tool for our Global Field team, and over 300 global partners. Within days Polyeidus proved themselves to be the best vendor that we’ve hired. Given Neville’s deep experiences with developing and publishing tools for storage and backup products, Polyeidus was able to cut the time to market of the initial release down to only 2 weeks! (Other vendors proposed a 3 month effort, at more than 5X the cost). The difference comes from both the expertise and the approach. Neville expertise allowed him to quickly understand the unique aspects of our product, as well as understand the requirements of the TCO tool without the need for my team to laboriously document the requirements. Neville’s approach is to work as a fully integrated member of the team, participating in frequent calls as needed to ensure optimal results. The best endorsement we can give is with follow-on work: We have continued to leverage Neville’s expertise for subsequent enhancements to the TCO tool, and we engaged Polyeidus for a second major effort—the development of a formal Sizing and Configuration tool for the Field and Partners.
