I've been attending the JavaScript User Group that Béla Varga founded regularly. It's a 150km/2hours train ride from Salzburg to Munich, but it's absolutly worth it for two high quality talks on javascript and the chance to meet some of the best javascript developers. I'm glad that many of my students also seize this opportunity. Sometimes there up to 20 of us attending the user group. Bélas is doing a great job in organizing this event. I never realized that he is also a greate developer and speaker until he gave a talk at my barcamp in salzburg - he never get's a chance to show that side at the munich user group.
