      I got my research master's degree in Immunology with honors. The thesis internship took place at the Pasteur Institute of Tunis in the Transmission, Control, and Immunobiology of Infections laboratory. The subject of the thesis consists in studying the effect of co-infection on the anti-leishmania immune response (innate and adaptive) in the experimental murine model Balb/c. Tasks: - Bibliographic study concerning leishmaniasis, the BCG vaccine, and Trained Immunity - In vivo treatment of BALB/c mice with L. major strains and the BCG vaccine -Perform techniques for measuring the size of the lesions and the limiting dilution for the estimation of the parasite load - Perform quantitative real-time PCR (q RT PCR) technique for cytokine assay.
