I first began my career with Pima County as the Public Safety Support Specialist for the Criminal Investigations Division and I was immediately hooked. My job has always been interesting and I get a great sense of fulfillment from helping deputies and detectives with daily job functions. After working for CID for almost two years, I was offered the opportunity to be the PSSS for the Federal Support Unit working contracted out of the Drug Enforcement Administration. There I was able to assist with locating suspects by using my skills and programs to find up to date information on where suspects might be residing. Approximately 8 months into that position I heard about an opening with the Crimes Against Children unit and I quickly put in my interest for the job. In my current assignment I find the highest level of job satisfaction I have know thusfar, in knowing the job that we do helps to protect children and adults alike from predators. I look forward to continuing to learn new skills and techniques to further assist the detectives in my unit.
