· Managing a small team of data scientists and data engineers.· In charge of our warehouse (Snowflake) admin tasks.· Working on the data pipelines end-to-end, from data collection to data presentation and analysis. Data collection was carried out from different data sources: GCP pub/sub events, GCP buckets, third party apps API, etc.· Leading the migration of the existing data transformations to dbt. This was done in order to centralize the source code, to effectively use version control, to improve testing and data validation within the pipeline, amongst other objectives.· Collaborating with underwriters and risk analysts in building a lending platform: - Using python to code the different lending criteria rules to partially automate the process of making a lending decision. The different decision models we created included: credit policy, general policy, security property assessment, affordability and document checklist. - Building and maintaining an affordability model. Studying the sensitivity based on changes in different features. Different data sources were used for estimations: ONS, land registry, OfGem, etc. · Continuing to work on analytics suite changes and maintenance, as well as ad hoc analysis for internal and external shareholders.
