      Ensure that all assigned personnel are instructed in and comply with all aspects of the FWSA Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policy, site security, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client Requirements. Ensure that Civil/Structural/building contractors adhere strictly to the latest approved for construction (AFC) project drawings, specifications, procedures and site instructions. Ensure by leadership and guidance, that civil contracted works under his control meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions. Duties Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of assigned construction supervisors and engineers. Maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records, ensuring that contractor’s management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permitting procedures, all required competent personnel, protective equipment, adequate supervision and manpower, with reliable, well maintained equipment to execute the contracted works as per contract schedule and targets. Ensure proper control of changes by issuing Field Instructions (FI’S) for all changes, reviewing Technical Queries(TQ’S) to ensure responses are appropriate and practical and reviewing Advance Revision Notices(ARN’S) prior to issue to contractors to ensure correct use of construction resources. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the agreed method statements. Maintain FWSA supervisory attendance and contractors toolbox talks and safety meetings. Encourage contractor safety incentives and FWSA/Contractor Teambuilding. Promote and maintain FWSA, Client and contractor best practice working relationship. Signing on/off all Sasol/ International work Permits (Work Permit course completed for Issuer/Recipient and Executer Qualified) Qualified as a 8.7 and 13.1 Sasol/Sasol International. Show less
