Neo is an incredibly inventive individual, wise beyond her years, with an uncanny ability to continuously produce work of not only a high standard but that separates her amongst the rest of her colleagues.

I was asked to create a small self-published magazine showcasing the 21 South African designers featured in the Fashion Institute's inaugural exhibition '21 Years: Making Histories with South African Fashion Week'. The Exhibition accompanies a newly launched book recording 21 years of South African Fashion Week. I travelled to Johannesburg to photograph and film garments at the A/W South African Fashion Week, and created the zine using different techniques of collaging using old magazines, news papers, pieces of fabric, photographs I had taken, and imagery provided to us by the SAFW team. I worked closely with the Zeitz Fashion Institute to help prepare for their first exhibition. Show less
