I have great pleasure to know Dr. Cvetkovic since 1977. He was initially my school mate, then a classmate at high school and at the university, and finally, we are both colleagues, albeit at different departments. If there is one word to describe Dr. Cvetkovic most accurately, I believe it would be "serious". He is simply speaking a great professional in whatever he undertakes. I have read his monograph, stemming from his PhD dissertation, and I have used it to demonstrate my graduate students how a PhD dissertation should look like. Under upbringing of Prof. Dr. Dragutin Velickovic, one of greatest Serbian names in electromagnetism, Dr. Cvetkovic developed his research, presentation and publication skills. Among teaching material he developed, I would like to point out to an intensive course in electromagnetism, that he successfully delivered at several universities. This work was strict, comprehensive and very interesting to students. I experienced first hand Dr. Cvetkovic's organizational skills at PES conferences, held biannually at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Nis. Dr. Cvetkovic has made sure that the conference activities go smooth.
