During my time as an R&D and Senior R&D engineer in 4TECH Cardio I worked with Nemanja in developing injection moulded parts for use in R&D, medical device development and trials, Nemanja was a very valuable partner in rapid turnaround of precise and challenging components manufactured in a range of materials and processes including Injection moulding and over moulding on varying catheter and wire types. The partnership allowed us to make use of the extensive experience Nemanja possessed in both the area of polymers and the wider field of general engineering design. We were able to approach Nemanja at an early stage of development of a component or mechanism and to work together to produce it in the most cost effective and efficient way. Due to the nature of R&D in general, and the small fast paced start-up I worked with at the time our timelines were often highly compressed. Nemanja was always able to provide us with a path to a solution which was sympathetic to the demanding timelines. I would highly recommend Nemanja as a partner in any project. and he was always someone who provided valuable and positive feedback and support in any engineering or manufacturing work that was sent his way. An absolute pleasure to work with and I hope our paths cross in the future.

I have worked with Nemanja for a number of years on various projects and I can highly recommend him. He is always a pleasure to deal with, excellent technical knowledge and very responsive to the needs of Research & Development projects.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nemanja on numerous different projects. He is known as an industry "Guru" with a broad expertise in catheter manufacturing, injection molding, balloon blowing and extrusions. In addition to his medical device knowledge, Nemanja leads projects by way of example, demonstrating key project management skills and problem-solving tools. Nemanja has stepped up to the plate on numerous complex projects, and his can-do attitude is one to be admired. There is no problem that can’t be solved and time and time again, he has turned up with a solution. I look forward to our next project together. Any business is fortunate to have him on board.

Catheter Manufacture• Responsible for training three product operators on ALL aspects of manufacturing a catheter. Processes such as but not limited to marker band crimping and swaging, proximal and distal bonding, tip forming, Balloon folding, Laser tacking, Heat Setting, Manifold Bonding, Strain Relief attaching, Dry Leak Testing, Manifold Marking. • Responsible for the catheter manufacturing line before I moved to work in Injection Molding full time. Injection Molding • Responsible for all Injection Molding projects in Clada Medical. I successfully delivered 100+ projects from micro molded units to much larger units. • I have experience with a range of materials such as but not limited to;  Polyether block amide or Pebax (All grades both natural and with Barium Sulphate) Nylon (Polyamide), Acrylic, Polyoxymethylene (POM), High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) and General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), Polycarbonate (PC), Polystyrene (PS).  I have also delivered projects using Biodegradable Synthetic material Polydioxanone (PDO). Medical Grade Silicone Long Term Implant• In this role I also worked on and successfully delivered a Medical Grade Silicone - long term implant - RefluxStop™.• This was used in the management of gastroesophageal acid reflux disease, GERD. • I came up with the mixing and air removal process of the silicone, manufacturing process from early prototypes until the end of this project. • This device went to clinical trials, and it had exceptional results. ‘After three years, results were remarkable; none of the 47 patients in the study were in need of regular daily use of PPIs (proton-pump inhibitors), which were taken by all before surgery.’• Nordson Medical acquired Clada Medical in October 2018 and I continued with my role in Nordson Medical.
