I first met Nell on the Rust Governance Committee, before she joined Mozilla. Her knowledge and professionalism impressed me then, and continued to do so after she joined Mozilla. I appreciated how welcoming and encouraging she was to me as a new community member, and that she reached out to me to help review talks for RustConf 2020, an activity I greatly appreciated and learned from. I am grateful to know her, and recommend her highly.

I feel very fortunate to have worked with Nell! I hired Nell as a senior web developer at PhishMe in February 2014 and she quickly proved to be a reliable, capable, and rigorous developer. She excelled at breaking down complex new features into small, well tested components. She also taught us how to produce estimates that were grounded in more than wishful thinking. When a Lead Developer role became available, Nell was the clear choice and excelled.
