The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is a Catholic, Mixed, Voluntary-Aided, Comprehensive School (85% state funded co-educational secondary school for students 11-18 years). Our school is the largest secondary school in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster, and thus chaplaincy requires collaboration across the school and greater local community. The role of chaplain involves nurturing and creating greater awareness of the spiritual, religious and liturgical life of our school. Our chaplaincy team consists of myself, an assistant chaplain, students and various teaching and support staff who all work together on school liturgies, social outreach, and retreats. As the head chaplain, I not only support the school's motto, "All things for Christ" but I hope to embody this. In communion with each other, the local and global Church, we offer a catholic education to students from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic and learning abilities backgrounds with a focus on care of the whole person.

This is a one of a kind state-funded, ecumenical comprehensive secondary school (UK grades 7-13; ages 12-18). I work as the RC chaplain on a team of other chaplains and cater to the unique spiritual needs of the students, staff and faculty.
