There was no one day the same as the other being an Executive Assistant. The various questions, requests and tasks made the role as diverse as I wished to make it. Accepting the responsibilities and challenges given to me offered not only satisfaction but high engagement with the greater business and it's partners. Core responsibilities of providing superior customer service levels for clients, guests and staff combined with a close working relationship with the Executive team helped me ensure smooth communication flow with high service levels. I managed the efficient workflow from the General Managers office, working to tight deadlines and was required to be flexible and open to change as the nature of the duties required. HR duties were also a part of the role and an intermediate knowledge of the area was required. I was also appointed as a Contact Officer. As the role was immensely multitasking focused, I was also responsible for the Contra Accounts and assisted the account payable department with internal processing of invoices, information gathering and data management…yep I own a cup that says – "I Love Spreadsheets". But in addition to the clinical side, I was able to extend my creativity and use my diverse range of extra skills into all areas of the business and external stakeholders, from graphic design to high quality and engaging presentations. In 2014 I was included in a nationwide project team for the Nova Entertainment Awards, here I was able to use my high administration and organising skills to determine and manage the judging section and all the requirements within that area. Being an Executive Assistant required me to be able to run a marathon in gumboots and never raise a sweat! I was and am energetic, enthusiastic, innovative and results-driven, with a strong ethical approach to ensure the best results and support to all staff. I am very passionate about the industry and am proud to have been a part of a company which does things differently. Show less
