I've had the pleasure of working with Nekane Colburn Arrubarrena for four years during her undergraduate education. From her first year to her last, she never wavered in her sincerity and her commitment to justice. Nekane is a passionate human with a desire to make an impact on this world - this was made evident in her dedication to her studies, to her service projects in the community, and to the people around her. Nekane and I both served on two-week service trip to the Philippines in 2017. During this trip I witnessed first hand her desire and ability to connect with people of all different backgrounds. Her celebration of diversity and human connection will make her an outstanding member of any team. Nekane is dedicated to life-long learning and is an extremely hard worker - she has made an impact on my life and continues to do so with people around the world.
