  Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for handling laboratory testing by manual diagnostic methods and by use of instruments.2. Perform laboratory testing on all samples submitted to the laboratory.3. Perform scheduled instrument maintenance & responsible in troubleshooting for hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology and chemistry instrument.4. To diligently perform tests and promptly provide accurate results to the requestor.5. To ensure that testing standards performed are in accordance with specific criteria stipulated in the MS ISO 15189 of Laboratory Accreditation.6. Perform phlebotomy procedure for patients and donors (venipuncture, finger prick, heel prick).7. Perform duties at blood bank donor area (interview CABG patients, screen donors and preparation for blood donation).8. To carry out daily quality controls and regular PPMs on instruments to ensure an efficient and accurate report.9. To supervise and carry out training of subordinates in the field of laboratory specialty.10. Monitoring of daily QC and proficiency test results.11. Prepared Turn Around Time reports, checked invoices and bills from the external laboratories such as MLF,UMMC,Gribbles, Pantai and take part in UNITY.12. Identifying non-compliance and bringing to the attention of the Senior MLT to make corrective action in daily quality control and External Quality Assurance Program.13. Identify preventive action, discussing and implementing it.14. In charged in Stock count (Receiving and Issuing) for all the laboratory items that purchased.15. Ensuring that daily maintenance of equipment’s is performed by the individual bench and preventive maintenance done as scheduled working together with Biomedical Service.16. Troubleshooting when the quality control, internal and external, are out of range.17. Performing laboratory tests in cases when there is shortage of staff.18. Performed assigned daily bench testing according to laboratory task procedures.
