  I am responsible for the technical delivery of all digital campaign, app and web development projects within the agency. I also collaborate closely with the strategy and creative teams to come up with ideas, plan and design projects that maximise client’s return on investment.My role is very hands-on, leading the back-end development of all web based projects. I have significant experience with many PHP frameworks and off-the-shelf systems, including Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP and Zend. I also use vanilla PHP5, employing object oriented design patterns and test driven development, when appropriate. I am also responsible for the agency’s DevOps and hosting infrastructure.I lead and manage a team of front-end, back-end, flash and native app developers, and, when required, I also select and manage technical outsource partners.For efficiency, I am often solely responsible for planning and scoping the specifics of projects to achieve top level requirements, and producing robust functional specifications and wireframes for clients to review and for developers to build from. When appropriate, I also design and document other project areas, such as recommended technical architectures and hosting platforms required to meet performance, scalability, security, redundancy and disaster recovery requirements.I frequently meet with clients to communicate technical ideas, gather user, business and technical requirements and help identify opportunities for growth.
