  Responsible for team of 7 Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors delivering pre- and post application development management advice in Yorkshire. Coordinating a focused approach to casework based on strategic engagement priorities developed in conjunction with the local Leadership Team and the development management team. Collaborative approach to complex and contentious planning casework through early engagement, case and peer reviews and development of best practice case studies. Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with key external partners including the RICS, RTPI, local authorities, LEPs, Government Agencies, major developers and landowners to promote the sustainable management of the historic environment. Providing archaeological advice to applicants, owners, and partner organisations on statutory and non-statutory issues including: Scheduled Monument Consent applications, planning applications, scheduling recommendations, and consents for works at EH properties
