In the position of Regional Director of Clinical Services, I oversaw and managed the clinical and administrative operations for more than 20 residential and outpatient programs for adults and adolescents in New York City metro area, upstate New York and Long Island, treating close to 2,000 individuals daily. With an operating budget of 25 million and over 350 employees the continuum of services includes treatment for substance abusers with mental health problems, programs for mothers with children, outpatient and residential treatment for military personnel, veterans and their families, impaired driver programs and withdrawal management programs with special emphasis on longitudinal withdrawal management for the opioid addicted patient. Responsibilities included redefining and implementing clinical protocols, operational and strategic leadership including oversight of all clinical operations and administrative functions, direct oversight of the administrative and clinical leadership team with a focus on clinical efficiency and effectiveness, quality assurance and improvement, budgetary management and adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards.
