  My responsibilities, included servicing and maintaining hydraulic safety valves. I was trusted to perform high pressure hydrostatic and gas testing.I had many trainee's from around the world assigned to me. During this period i also travelled to different areas, such as USA, Norway and several locations in England.My function in this team was to service and complete modification to brand new valve systems designed by Expro engineers to a client spec. I was a team leader and took part in training the workshop staff and operators on these systems, which was a great experience. This project also required me to interface with both the customer and the verifying authorities. I have also been responsible for preparing landing strings for offshore jobs. During this, i had to liase with reps from clients. i was also posted in Cape Town. My job there was to co-ordinate a team during the recertification of a project. Show less
